Barrister Abu Sufian

Abu has a diverse and successful practice. Being an accredited Litigator he is able to offer a full service and draws on knowledge he has gained from across his specialist practice areas.

His practice focuses on:
  • Immigration and Human Rights
  • Public law (cases against government and state organisations)
  • Family law (focusing on child matters, Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders)
  • Criminal Law – Abu has practiced in the field of Immigration for some 14 years
  • Property Law – Landlord and tenant, Leashold, boundary and more

Prior to joining the Bar, Abu acted as the Principal and Director of London Lea Valley College, where he assisted the college in obtaining a sponsorship license to sponsor students. Abu was also the Director of LLVC (law firm). He is able to apply the commercial awareness has gained to each case, to ensure that each case is handled sympathetically and with a view to a pragmatic outcome.

Abu regularly accepts instructions from members of the public via the Direct Access Scheme. Abu also holds a Litigation Extension allowing him to both represent clients in court as well as to draft Home Office applications.
