Overview
Tom has specialist criminal practice which also touches on immigration, family and commercial law. Tom draws on the experiences he has gained through his diverse professional background he developed as Conseil Juridiquefor Boddington and Yturbe, lecturer and as a part-time Immigration Judge. Tom has appeared in the Crown Court, High Court and the Court of Appeal.

Tom specialises in criminal advocacy. He has previous experience working as part of the CPS as a Crown Prosecutor. This puts him in a strong position when constructing defences.

Road Traffic, Driving Offences
- In the case of a defendant who had 24 points on his licence, Tom Davidson persuaded the Crown Court to suspend his interim disqualification.
- Where a defendant had been put on his partner’s motor insurance policy as a named driver and then struck off without notice by the insurance company, Tom Davidson had the prosecution thrown out by the court.
Criminal Law
- Tom successfully defended a defendant in the Crown Court accused of several frauds using a “Lebanese Loop” system on various bank cash machines.
- He successfully defended a husband accused of a serious assault in a Jury Trial after the wife claimed she had been dragged by her hair. Under cross examination she admitted she wore wigs.
- Tom successfully defended an employee accused of blackmailing his employer for fifty-thousand pounds by demonstrating to the jury that it was a legitimate demand for unpaid wages.
- Tom got a not guilty verdict for a defendant accused of attempted murder by showing the jury that the alleged victim had had an affair with the Defendant’s wife and falsely accused the defendant of attacking him.
